Michelle wanted to do something special to show her mother how much she appreciated all of the holiday traditions they shared when she was younger, and how much she loved carrying on those same traditions with her own young children.
She had already been gifted a Hummingbird Fragrance Flight by a friend the previous Christmas and had created the most beautiful custom Signature Scent by blending Evergreen & Apple with Blue Spruce, which she gifted to friends and loved ones that year.
When the holidays came around again, Michelle created a custom Fragrance Flight for her mom using scents that reminded her of the traditions they shared.
For her three heart scents, she chose:
- Fraser Fir (nostalgic of going to the local tree farm and picking out the perfect tree)
- Christmas Hearth (reminiscent of gathering around the fireplace and opening gifts)
- Hansel & Gretel's House (nostalgic of baking gingerbread cookies and decorating houses)
For her five bonus blends, she chose:
- Orange Pomander (as kids, they would create dried fruit garlands for the tree)
- Maple Walnut Pancakes (extra-special Christmas breakfasts)
- Woodland Snow (white Christmases in Maine)
- Vanilla Eggnog (just because they love eggnog during the holidays)
- Evergreen & Apple (just because she loved this scent from her own Fragrance Flight - and we agree, it's our favorite!)
Needless to say, Michelle's mom absolutely loved her Flight, was brought to tears by the sentimentality and nostalgia of all the scents she had chosen, and plans to gift her own signature-scented flameless candles to the entire family next Christmas!
