Thoughtfully designed with scent science in mind, each Flight invites you to slow down, explore fragrance with intention, and create something uniquely your own.
Begin by selecting scents you love, especially the ones tied to meaningful memories, then explore custom blends by melting different fragrances together at home.
As you experiment, you are engaging in olfactory enrichment, a gentle sensory exercise known to spark memory, emotion, and connection through scent.
Once you discover a blend that feels just right, send your custom formula our way and we will hand-pour your signature scent into a flameless candle or wax melts to enjoy at home or gift to someone you love. Your story, told through scent.

How it works
Choose the experience that feels right for you. Build Your Own HMB Fragrance Flight by selecting and personalizing each part of your experience, or choose one of our Done-for-You Fragrance Flights, thoughtfully curated by HMB with complementary scents ready to explore. Our Done-for-You Flights are perfect for busy bees, thoughtful gift-givers or anyone who would like a little help getting started.
STEP 1: CHOOSE YOUR CANDLE JAR
This is the jar that you will use along with you blending tins to experiment with scent combinations, and then also to enjoy your custom signature scent hand-poured by HMB.
STEP 2: SELECT THREE BASE SCENTS
Select three fragrances that speak to you. These base scents become the heart of your Fragrance Flight, the fragrances you will first experience individually and later combine as you begin creating your signature blend.
STEP 3: ADD FIVE BLENDING SCENTS
Select five additional fragrances to mix and match, giving you even more ways to explore and create a signature blend that is uniquely yours. Need a little help? Choose “Surprise Me,” and the HMB team will recommend five fragrances.
STEP 4: PERSONALIZE YOUR BASE SCENTS (OPTIONAL)
Give each of your three base scents a personal name inspired by the memory it brings to mind.
STEP 5: ADD A WARMING LAMP & COMPLETE YOUR ORDER
A candle warming lamp is essential for enjoying your Fragrance Flight. If you already have one at home, you’re ready to begin. If not, add a Candyl warming lamp to your order. Lastly, review your selections, submit your order and get ready for your personalized fragrance experience to arrive!
