HMB Candles was built on the idea that scent has the power to tell stories, spark memories, and create meaningful connections. After a successful launch, we are beyond excited to bring our scents and the Signature Scent experience from e-commerce and into beautifully curated retail spaces!

When our friends at Island Dog Pet Grooming Co. approached us about bringing the HMB Signature Scent experience into their shop, we instantly fell in love with the idea. But, we also knew that our original Hummingbird Fragrance Flight would need to be thoughtfully reimagined for an in-store setting.

Not wanting to lose the personal touches, elevated aesthetic, or immersive experience our Flights are known for, we went back to the drawing board and created the HMB Mix & Melt Flight - a fully interactive signature scent experience designed to fit beautifully within just 30 inches of retail space.

Customized from nose to tail for Island Dog’s brand and clientele, we worked closely with the owners to curate a collection of 18 scents that they loved, develop Island Dog-themed grab-and-go wax melts and car diffusers for incremental revenue opportunities, and design a personalized scent experience that invites customers to create a custom pet-friendly signature scent entirely their own.

Because no two shops are alike, every HMB retail collaboration is intentionally tailored to reflect the personality, aesthetic, and offerings of the business itself. Creating an experience that feels just as personal as the custom scents being created.
